Thanks to <a href="http://www.mfischer.com/2007/10/25/gmail-adds-imap/">Mike</a> I found out that <a href="http://gmailblog.blogspot.com/2007/10/sync-your-inbox-across-devices-with.html">Gmail has been enabling IMAP</a>.  I went and checked, and I&#8217;m one of the lucky accounts that has it enabled.  I&#8217;ve got it all set up and running.  It was a big feature that kept me from using my gmail account as much as I might otherwise.</p>
