Just finished watching Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars. It was amazing! The only regret I have is that we didn’t get to see everything that happened in those 4 hours happen over the course of an entire season instead.

The Futon Critic is reporting the official
renewal announcment of Tru in Fox’s Upfront presentation today.
It’s not official yet, but it’s being reported that Tru Calling has been picked up for next season.
It’s a great show and I was afraid that it wasn’t going to make it, given FOX’s record with good Sci-Fi lately. John Doe was another great show with so so ratings, and it got snipped [...]
The Sci-Fi Channel has confirmed that it will be airing a Farscape mini-series in the 4th quarter of the year.
It’ll pick up from the end of the series and it looks like everyone is back on board for it.
No new Angel next year. No good thing goes on forever, I guess. At least they have a little bit of warning, so they might be able to tie things up in a way they like.

There are rumors going around that Farscape is back in production. Keeping my frelling fingers crossed.
Rod Roddy died yesterday. The Price is Right won’t be quite the same without him. Rod was also the announcer on Press your Luck and Soap, two other shows I enjoyed. His wonderful voice will be missed.
It looks like there is going to be a Firefly movie. This is great news! Firefly was great show, which like John Doe, was cancelled by Fox because it didn’t have the ratings they wanted for it. I’m thrilled to hear that the story is going to continue past what Fox produced.
The Buffy and 24 finales were pretty good. 24 felt a little like a let down. The previous few episodes had been a lot more fast paced. Things seem to slow down too much in the last hour. They clearly knew they were going to have another season before they got [...]

John Doe was canceled. That’s bad.
It occurs to me that I’ve not mentioned how happy I am that The Daily Show is back on the air. Frankly, I need them right now.
