I TiVoed the MTV show that was the official revelation of the system. It took me about 3 minutes to view all the useful content in it.

I like the standard wireless controller, and that it does have a place to plug in wires when needed. The new design looks pretty nice, but isn’t that big a deal to me anyway.

Overall, it looks pretty good. I’ve not seen any games yet that will make me buy it at launch, but that could change. E3 could bring some new information that would change that.

Game Gossip is reporting that Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake eater will be out Nov 17th.

Donkey Konga has been out for a little while and Xander and I want to play.

Halo 2 has gone gold.

This is a very good time of year for games.

New enemies, new weapons, better AI and an improved camera. Of course, it’s going to make an already hard game, even harder. Still, it’s a classy move on their part.

I’m glad I got a year of XBox Live for Father’s Day.

The upgrade is due out in August.

Kate played it a little after she got home before we went to bed, and she enjoyed it also. So it looks like we have a winner in the ‘how to get Ty to exercise’ category. This is the kind of thing that I can stick with. I need a game to exercise. It didn’t have to be a video game. It could have been something like tennis or racquetball, but I just can’t make myself exercise for the sake of it.

DDR is a lot of fun. It uses up a lot of energy, and I felt really good when I was done! I can hardly wait to get it set up again tonight to play.

Despite the bugs. The bugs really aren’t all that bad, they are mostly minor except for the big one. It does a good job of capturing the feeling of the Star Wars universe, and it’s a great RPG to boot.
