Kingdom Hearts

by @ Saturday, October 25th, 2003. Filed under Games, PS2, RPG

I just finished Kingdom Hearts. That had to be one of the best game endings I’ve even seen. The final boss battle was amazing. I was breathing hard after I was done with it from all the excitement and adreneline. I highly recommend this game to anyone who loves a RPG with a great story [...]

The Temple of Elemental Evil

by @ Sunday, September 21st, 2003. Filed under Games, PC, RPG

I’m weak. Yesterday, I realized that The Temple of Elemental Evil was out. I also realized that I had a $5 off coupon from my Best Buy Reward Zone membership. Sum the two and I’m now it’s proud owner. I’ve only played it for about 30 minutes, because Kate and I have been busy catching [...]

Greyhawk: The Temple of Elemental Evil Preview

by @ Thursday, August 14th, 2003. Filed under Games, PC, RPG

GameSpy has a preview of The Temple of Elemental Evil up today. For those who don’t know, TToEE is a classic Gary Gygax D&D module. Troika is updating it for the 3.5 ruleset. I can hardly wait to play it.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines Preview

by @ Wednesday, August 13th, 2003. Filed under Games, PC, RPG

Eurogamer has a preview of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines up. I’m pretty excited about this game. Of course, I was excited about Redemption as well, and I never even finished the first setting for it. That game was developed by Nihilistic, this new game is being developed by Troika, they who made Fallout and [...]

Knights of the Old Republic

by @ Thursday, August 7th, 2003. Filed under Games, RPG, Xbox

Knights of the Old Republic is great! Despite the bugs. The bugs really aren’t all that bad, they are mostly minor except for the big one. It does a good job of capturing the feeling of the Star Wars universe, and it’s a great RPG to boot.

Suikoden III

by @ Monday, February 10th, 2003. Filed under Games, PS2, RPG

Well, here’s hoping Suikoden III is as good as everyone has said. I just spent $70 to get a new copy of it off of EBay. It’s impossible to find these days. I checked every EB in a 50 mile radius with no luck. Looked at a Best Buy, Target, and even a Wal-Mart and [...]

Summoner 2

by @ Thursday, January 24th, 2002. Filed under Games, PS2, RPG

Volition has announced Summoner 2. Woo hoo!

Catching Up

by @ Friday, January 4th, 2002. Filed under Family, Games, PS2, RPG

So after a week or so of down time, things are back up and running. The major down side of having your site hosted on a friends broadband connection is that when your machine goes down while he’s out of town, it stays down. What a few weeks it has been. Christmas and New Year’s [...]

Final Fantasy X Coming Out Early

by @ Tuesday, December 11th, 2001. Filed under Games, PS2, RPG

The question of the day is, “Will Ty be able to resist buying Final Fantaxy X before he finishes Metal Gear Solid 2? SquareSoft has announced that limited quantities will be shipped on December 18th (and in stores on the 20th). The odds of me finding one are pretty small anyway. So I’m going to [...]

Pool of Radiance

by @ Sunday, October 7th, 2001. Filed under Games, PC, RPG

I was really looking forward to Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor. That is until I read this review over at The 3rd Edition. Looks like UBI Soft didn’t do such a great job changing the game from 2nd edition to 3rd edition D&D rules, so we end up with an odd mismash of [...]

Finished Anachronox

by @ Tuesday, September 4th, 2001. Filed under Games, PC, RPG

I finished Anachronox over the long weekend. Wow, what a game. I hope the next one gets made, even though Ion Storm is no more. I really would like to know how the story turns out.

Final Fantasy X Hands-On

by @ Thursday, July 19th, 2001. Filed under Games, PS2, RPG

Gamespot has a Final Fantasy X Hands-On article up looking at the final Japanese build of the first Final Fantasy for the PS2. I wish I didn’t have to wait till next year to get the English version.
