There is news coming from TGS about three new Kingdom Hearts games. One of them is a mobile phone game, so I doubt I’ll end up with that one. The other two are for the DS and PSP, which I’ll certainly end up picking up. No solid info on when these might be released, or if they will even make it to the US. I’m working on the assumption that they will for now. I’m very excited, and I know Xander will be too.

I found a little more coverage from IGN.

Went out about noon today to exchange my PSP at Target. They were wonderful about it. No problems at all. They even let me borrow the battery from the one I was returning to check the new one out before I left the store. I don’t see any dead pixles on this one at all.

Pretty good luck on my part, considering the stories I’ve read on the net of people have to try 5 or 6 different times to get a good one.

It’s charging up now, and I’ll most likely give some games a whirl this evening.

I picked up a PSP today. We had an All-Hands meeting at work, and I got a $500 bonus for some work I’d done over the past year. (I also won an iPod mini for Kate!)

We decided I should get myself a PSP with the money. I’ve not played it yet. It’s still charging up at this point. I think I’ll be taking it back to Target tomorrow (since our trip to the beach likely been canceled because Kate is sick, more on that tomorrow) though. This one has lots of dead pixels on it, and I’m just not happy with it. I’ll make a trip out there and I’ll be testing them till I find one that is acceptable.

So I made a huge mistake today.

I tried out a friends PSP. Now, I really want one. It’s a sweet little hand held game machine/media player.

I mostly want it more for the game angle of course, but I’m not above encoding some movies and putting them on a 1GB memory stick and carrying them around with me.

Luckly, so far, there are no “killer games” out for it, though I am curious about several of them, there are none that I feel the need to play right away, so I’ll be able to restrain myself for a while.
