Avast, me hearties! Don’t forget that today be Talk Like a Pirate Day!
Speaking of Halo 3! A music video called Halo Nights is out on the net, which I thought was pretty funny.
Scientists, good ones anyway, are just different kinds of people.
I think this comic sums up the difference quite nicely.
“The phrase is ‘Whoever dies with the most toys wins.’”
I often find that after a vacation, I need a rest. At least now that I have kids. They don’t consider sitting around doing nothing fun as much as we adults do. It’s worth it though.
Yarrr! Don’t be forgetting that today be Talk Like a Pirate Day, mateys.
I’ve linked to these people before.
This time, they get a crowd of people together to shop at Home Depot in slow motion. The thing that I found the interesting is the difference between what actually happened and the perception of the employees.
Xander got a small book of riddles recently. We were reading though some of them tonight before bed.
Xander asks, “What did one eye say to the other?”
“I don’t know.”
“Between you and me there is something that smells.”
So I found that one pretty funny so I started laughing. Xander laughs too. I explain the joke to him a little bit so he’ll understand why we are laughing.
So I have him tell that one to Kate. We all start laughing and Xander says, “It’s funny because eyes can’t talk.” Kate and I almost hurt ourselves laughing.
I don’t want to be a casual gamer. Lately, however, that’s what happens.
At least I can admit I have a problem.
Found this out on the net.
A group of about 80 people go into a Best Buy dressed to resemble employees. They don’t ever claim to be, they just all show up at the same time and hang around the store. Quite funny.
I came across this today. It’s a Top 10 list from The Late Show with David Letterman from December 2nd, 1999. It was read by Dale Jarrett, who had recently won the Winston Cup at the time.
Kate and I used to drive by this stolen cow (it wasn’t stolen at the time, of course) on a regular basis when we lived in Chesapeake. Just kinda odd.
Darth Vader’s Weblog starts out just before the events in The Empire Strikes Back. It’s very funny. I’m looking forward to seeing how long it goes on.
We’ve been joking at work for the past week about what we should tell any exit pollers we come across today.
You can imagine my joy when I came across this.
