We had a great Halloween. As mentioned before, Xander was Lightning McQueen and Mira was Cinderella. They had a great time ringing doorbells and getting candy. They also enjoyed when we got back home and were able to hand out candy to the other kids (which Mira referred to as “trickers”). It was a lot of fun for all of us.

We headed out to Xander and Mira’s school this morning for the Fall Festival.  They both had a great time.  This year, Xander is Lightning McQueen and Mira is Cinderella.  They had a lot of fun going from room to room playing the games and doing the projects and showing off the costumes to the teachers.

Xander had a trip to the Museum of Natural History today. Kate went along also as a chaperone. They had a great time. I’ll cut my description short and let Xander sum up the trip.

I went to a museum this week too. I went to the Museum of Natural History in Washington. It was a field trip with my school and my mom. I saw some Paleozoic Era stuff likes sea scorpions, trilobites , and starfish. I also some some Mesozoic Era stuff like dinosaurs and a little Paleozoic Era stuff there also. Then we went to the Cenozoic Era where humans were, well, almost. And we saw a couple movies at the Museum of Natural History.

I think that sums it up pretty well. That boy amazes me.
