Xander is doing very well tonight. His temp has stayed around 99° all day either from the medicine, or from his recovery. We’ll wake him up at least once tonight to give him medicine to help him make it through the night. Then we’ll evaluate again in the morning and see how things are going.

Just took Xander’s temperature again.  It was 98.6°, so either the medicine is working or the fever has broken.  In either case, he’s getting some good restful sleep at the moment.  I think I’ll go do the same.

We got up at 4:15am to give Xander more Ibuprofen. His temp was back up to 103° and he wasn’t feeling well at all. We gave him is medicine and put him back to bed. We waited about an hour and checked his temp again, not much change. We decided to go ahead and give [...]
