That’s the title of an article that a friend of mine let me know about. So things are also looking good for the beach house!

Just called the Leesburg Utilities Department,, and they say the water in Leesburg isn’t affected by this, so we are ok.

We’ve got water issues for the next few days it looks like. Power went out for the Fairfax County water treatment plants, so they aren’t sure the water is ok. They estimate 48 to 72 hours for everything to be flushed out and tested. I’m glad we bought all that bottled water now.

It’s starting to get dark outside. We lost power again for a little while before dinner, it was out for about 10 minutes before it came back on. We’ve been very lucky in that regard so far. Looks like the data from Weather Underground for Leesburg isn’t all that accurate. The data for Dulles looks a lot more like what I’m seeing out side as far as the wind speeds go.
