That’s the title of an article that a friend of mine let me know about. So things are also looking good for the beach house!

Just called the Leesburg Utilities Department,, and they say the water in Leesburg isn’t affected by this, so we are ok.

We’ve got water issues for the next few days it looks like. Power went out for the Fairfax County water treatment plants, so they aren’t sure the water is ok. They estimate 48 to 72 hours for everything to be flushed out and tested. I’m glad we bought all that bottled water now.

Things look pretty good by the light of day. There are a few small limbs down out behind our house. The creek next to our house is running a little high, but is still well within its banks at this point. I still need to make a run around the house to check for damage [...]
