It amazes me that some people are allowed to have children.
Exactly how stupid do you have to be to go to prison and not tell anyone that your kid is at home alone? I would think breathing would be too much of a strain on this person’s mind for her to have made it to the point of actually having a child.
The Matrix Trilogy website has put up images of the movie posters for Revolutions.
TheOneRing.net has a trailer up for LOTR: The Return of the King. Filerush also has a BitTorrent set up for it (or at least did, it’s worth checking out to see if it’s back). They have a direct download version there also. GameTab also has a BitTorrent up for it.
There is also a LowRes version if you don’t have the bandwidth or patience for the larger one.
Xander is doing a great job on the potty front. Twice today, he let me know that he needed to go potty before he’d so much as wet his underwear a drop. The third time, he had a small accident, but it could very well have happened after he told me and before we got him all set up on the potty. We’re quite proud of him.
The (now former) head of Red Lobster didn’t guess that when they said “all-you-can-eat” people would eat all they could.
A new Matrix Revolutions theatrical trailer is out. FileRush has a BitTorrent up for it.
TV spots for Matrix: Revolutions are now up on the official web site.
A new version of the official BitTorrent client is out. I’m still using an experimental client that has a lot more info about what is going on during the session, so I’m not gonna upgrade quite yet.
And I do mean lots. Overnight last night, Leesburg got 6.5″ of rain. That’s pretty impressive. The “creek” (ok, it’s a drainage ditch) next to our house has all the plants that grow in it pushed over flat in the direction the water was running overnight. I wish I’d seen it while it was happening, but even the aftermath of it is pretty impressive. I guess that explains the flooding that has 15 South closed.
The drive wasn’t such a big deal after all. I just had to take a slightly different route since the exit I normally use was blocked off. No big deal.
The drive home looks to be fun today. Much of 15 South, which my house is off of, is closed down due to flooding today. So hopefully I can get home anyway. It might be an adventure.
Some spiritualist has announced that both Jesus and Martin Luther King Jr. support Arnold in the upcoming California recall election. I’m sure that Arnold will be rushing to update his campaign literature.
Xander did a great job going to school this morning. He didn’t seem upset about it at all today. We went in, he hung his stuff up in his cubby, and he went straight to the teachers to shake hands and start his day. I was very proud of him.
We got Xander’s new bed set up today. He’s now sleeping on a twin bed with box springs and a headborad and everything. He was very excited about it when we first got it set up, but he was so tired last night that he had a hard time dealing with it. Hopefully he’ll feel better about it tomorrow.
Kate put the dragon sheets on it that she got for him not long after he was born since he was born in the Year of the Dragon. He seemed to think they were pretty neat as well.
I’m weak. Yesterday, I realized that The Temple of Elemental Evil was out. I also realized that I had a $5 off coupon from my Best Buy Reward Zone membership. Sum the two and I’m now it’s proud owner. I’ve only played it for about 30 minutes, because Kate and I have been busy catching up on Stargate SG-1. It’s a good game so far though. It’s not completely 3.5 edition D&D, but it’s pretty close.
I look forward to getting more play time in today during quiet time for Xander.
