GameSpot is reporting that The Republic will be released on August 29th. I’ve heard some good things about this game, and it certainly looks like it’ll be something different to play.
Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy has gone gold. Should be out in about a month.
GameSpy has a preview of The Temple of Elemental Evil up today. For those who don’t know, TToEE is a classic Gary Gygax D&D module. Troika is updating it for the 3.5 ruleset. I can hardly wait to play it.
In case you haven’t heard, this month Mars will make it’s closest approach to Earth in 60,000 years on August 27th. It’s a great time to take a look at it with bionculars or, even better, a telescope.
Eurogamer has a preview of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines up. I’m pretty excited about this game. GameSpy has a preview up for Max Payne 2. According to them, the sequel will be just as good as the first, most likely better. It’s going to have a much deeper story, and we all know I’m a big fan of good game story..
So Fox News is suing Al Franken because it has the trademark on the phrase “Fair & Balanced”. The irony itself is almost enough to kill me.

Knights of the Old Republic is great! Despite the bugs. The bugs really aren’t all that bad, they are mostly minor except for the big one. It does a good job of capturing the feeling of the Star Wars universe, and it’s a great RPG to boot.
I’ve changed over to a new weblog using MovableType. I’ll be importing all the old stuff into it when I get a chance.
