One day to go! Kate’s mom got here yesterday so I’m at work today. I’m more that a little stressed about the whole thing of course. I’m looking forward to the baby, but I’m just nervous about the whole thing. I make myself feel better by remembering how stressed I was before Xander was born. C-Section is scheduled for around 8am tomorrow morning. I’ll have info and pics up as soon as I’m able.

As suspected, I’m now working on Harry Potter: Year 5. Took Kate just over 24 hours to read it. It’ll take me longer. It was good timing for her to be in required sitting/resting mode. She could devote quite a bit of energy to it.

With a lot of luck, I’ll be able to finish it before the baby is born.

The new Harry Potter book is out. I went and picked up a copy today. I didn’t stand in line at midnight. I just walked into the store around 9:45am, picked one up off the stack and paid for it. Now, was that so hard?

Kate’s already working hard on it. I suspect I’ll get my chance Sunday or Monday

So we were off to the doctor this morning. Kate had been having a lot of back pain. Turns out, she’s having some contractions. Dr. Wolf said she needs to stay off her feet this weekend, so I’m home today to make sure that happens. She thinks we’ll make it to Monday though as long as Kate does that.

8 days to go!

The little one will be here soon. The house is almost in order. At least as in order as it gets for us. We’re all getting pretty excited. I’m also getting the pre-baby stress big time. It just always seems like there is more stuff to get done than there is time. Ready or not though, it won’t be long before she’s here.

We had another sonogram today. Everything is looking good with the baby. It’s a girl for sure. (At least as close as for sure as they can ever get.) The baby’s head is currently 35cm, that’s about 13 3/4″. She weighs 5lbs 14oz give or take 14oz. (So 5lbs to 6 3/4 lbs.) We got some amazing pictures of her face. I’m gonna try to get them scanned tonight, assuming I can get the scanner hooked up and working in it’s new location.

3 Weeks 1 day till the scheduled c-section.
