Volition has announced Summoner 2. Woo hoo!

Xander and I are both much better now. I was out of work for two days, and I did finally start throwing up some. Took Xander a day or two more. He’s still got a little cold, but the throwing up seems to be over.

He’s also starting a lot of talking the last few days. He’ll do his best to repeat almost anything you ask him to now. It’s really very cute. He’s also starting saying some words when he signs them, and sometimes switching between the two. Kate and I are very excited.

We had snow on Saturday! Looked like about 4 inches to us. We took Xander out to walk around in it for a while in the afternoon. He seemed to think it was quite fun. If I ever get around to buying my video editing stuff, I’ll put up some pics/movies of him out in it

Well, Xander and I are both sick. Xander sicker than me. He has a fever around 101 and is throwing up a lot. I have a low fever and I’ve not actually thrown up yet, but I feel like I’m going to. I feel worse for him than I do for me, at least I understand what’s wrong, Xander just keeps giving back his food with no understanding of what’s going on.

So after a week or so of down time, things are back up and running. The major down side of having your site hosted on a friends broadband connection is that when your machine goes down while he’s out of town, it stays down.

What a few weeks it has been. Christmas and New Year’s have some and gone. Xander seems to have enjoyed Christmas. He enjoyed riding around and looking at Christmas lights. He also enjoyed opening up his presents.

Two days after Christmas, my dad and Dene came up to visit. Xander had a great time with them. He still signs for them once and a while and looks around for them.

Also on the Xander front, we’ve got him on Zantac again now. It seems to be helping the throwing up problem that we’ve been having the last few months. He also has had more of an appetite that he’s had in the last few months since he went back on it.

I finished Metal Gear Solid 2 over the holidays. I enjoyed it very much, but I still have mixed feelings about it. I really can’t explain what it is I didn’t like about it. The plot was a little confusing, and that may be it. I’m looking forward to MGS3, which I’m sure will be made, given the number of loose ends they left in MGS2.

So now I’m mostly playing Final Fantasy X (with some Jak and Daxter thrown in if I play anything while Xander is awake). Boy, does it have a different advancement system. I’m growing to like it as I use it more though.
