What a weekend.
Parent’s were up Thursday night and Friday to help get stuff done around the house and see Xander. Got lots done and we all had a good time. Went to First Friday in Leesburg, lots of fun. We were sorry they had to leave so soon.
Xander is a walking machine now. He’s now to the point where he not only can walk, he wants to walk. This is the first of the “I can do it myself” things that he has done. I’m so proud of him, but I kinda miss my baby too. Then we went walking to the end of the street Saturday morning to look at yard sales. Like I said, he’s a walking machine now.
We did some actual landscaping this weekend. Kate and I went to the farmer’s market in Leesburg on Saturday and picked out two flowers and some herbs to put in the yard. They are replacing the spidery grass blooming thingies that we don’t know what they are but we know we don’t like them. Got them planted on Sunday, now we just have to hope we don’t kill them.
