Xander is Walking
by @ 11:59 pm.

Xander has turned into a walking machine. This weekend we went to the mall, and he was walking around all over the place. It’s hard to believe that this is the same baby that used to just, well, lie there. It’s amazing how fast it all goes by. It’s something you really just don’t understand till it happens. Can he really be 14 months old already?

Digitaly Imported rocks. If you are looking for a good trance stream to listen to, I highly recommend it.

Black and White remains patchless. I’ve not even finished the 2nd land yet, because of all the bugs. Don’t get my wrong, it’s a great game, and I love it, but it’s hard to put a lot of effort into a game when things keep crashing, or my creature keeps forgetting things I already taught him whenever I load a save game. (Things I taught him before the save, I mean.) I hope a patch comes out soon. A similar thing happend with Vampire and I still haven’t gotten back around to playing it.

Jury Duty Canceled
by @ 11:59 pm.

I don’t have jury duty tomorrow after all!

Now don’t get me wrong, I was prepared to go and do my duty as a citizen and spend my time on a jury. But I can’t say I mind having it canceled so I don’t have to do it. To be honest, I was a little nervous about it. None of that matters now though, because either the crime rate in Loudoun is low enough, or the cops have enough trouble catching anyone, that they don’t need any new jurors tomorrow. I’m going to assume it’s the former instead of the latter, because I’d like to be able to sleep nights.

Taxes done!
by @ 11:59 pm.

Taxes are done! I didn’t actually put off doing them this year. They’ve been done for about a month. I just didn’t get around to submiting them till yesterday. Filled electronicly, of course. Kate remarked that, “Xander won’t ever remember when taxes involved sending load of paper to the IRS.” Or at least something like that. I’m paraphrasing. I so love the age I live in.

New Code
by @ 11:59 pm.

So I’ve finished the first draft of my new database/php driven news page. I’m working on it to help reinforce my learning of PHP which I’m doing to take care of my training requirements for work.

I happen to think PHP is very impressive. It may replace Perl for a lot of my web scripting needs. People who know me will find that an amazing statement. People who don’t will wonder why I bother to mention it.

More Game Returns
by @ 11:59 pm.

So The Bouncer went back to EB, and I picked up Triple Play Baseball for the PS2. Sigh. Much disappointment ensued. I was looking forward to as good an expericence as Madden NFL 2001, but no such luck. Maybe next year.

So TPB went back on Saturday and I picked up the newly released Black & White. Did you ever play Populus, (also by Peter Molyneux)? This is Populus on an EPIC SCALE. This is the most addictive thing I’ve played since EverQuest came out two year ago.

Good news part two! Baseball season has started as of yesterday! I feel much better now.
